General Description

As health care workers across the globe fight the global pandemic COVID-19 on the frontlines, they’re not just battling the outbreaks and its consequences, but also many are facing a lack of necessary resources.

Responding to a looming global shortage of ventilators, we teamed up with a group of brilliant engineers from Canada to confront the challenge head-on. We developed a low-cost ventilator that can be widely and rapidly produced with 3D-printing technology.

The design is straightforward and requires electricity and a standard oxygen supply tank. A single ventilator can be manufactured within a few hours and made operational with full functionalities as a conventional one.

Assembly is rapid, so the production of 50 units per day is possible. This provides us with the ability to respond to a countries’ needs in time and quantity.

The goal is to provide it for the lowest cost possible to whoever needs this vital piece of life-saving equipment.
